CVE-2021-25219 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 3 more | 23 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 20 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.3 Medium |
In BIND 9.3.0 -> 9.11.35, 9.12.0 -> 9.16.21, and versions 9.9.3-S1 -> 9.11.35-S1 and 9.16.8-S1 -> 9.16.21-S1 of BIND Supported Preview Edition, as well as release versions 9.17.0 -> 9.17.18 of the BIND 9.17 development branch, exploitation of broken authoritative servers using a flaw in response processing can cause degradation in BIND resolver performance. The way the lame cache is currently designed makes it possible for its internal data structures to grow almost infinitely, which may cause significant delays in client query processing. | ||||
CVE-2021-23133 | 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 24 Brocade Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 21 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.0 High |
A race condition in Linux kernel SCTP sockets (net/sctp/socket.c) before 5.12-rc8 can lead to kernel privilege escalation from the context of a network service or an unprivileged process. If sctp_destroy_sock is called without sock_net(sk)->sctp.addr_wq_lock then an element is removed from the auto_asconf_splist list without any proper locking. This can be exploited by an attacker with network service privileges to escalate to root or from the context of an unprivileged user directly if a BPF_CGROUP_INET_SOCK_CREATE is attached which denies creation of some SCTP socket. | ||||
CVE-2020-9391 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp | 10 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 5.4 and 5.5 through 5.5.6 on the AArch64 architecture. It ignores the top byte in the address passed to the brk system call, potentially moving the memory break downwards when the application expects it to move upwards, aka CID-dcde237319e6. This has been observed to cause heap corruption with the GNU C Library malloc implementation. | ||||
CVE-2020-7595 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 32 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 29 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 High |
xmlStringLenDecodeEntities in parser.c in libxml2 2.9.10 has an infinite loop in a certain end-of-file situation. | ||||
CVE-2020-29661 | 6 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 18 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.8 High |
A locking issue was discovered in the tty subsystem of the Linux kernel through 5.9.13. drivers/tty/tty_jobctrl.c allows a use-after-free attack against TIOCSPGRP, aka CID-54ffccbf053b. | ||||
CVE-2020-29660 | 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 17 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 14 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.4 Medium |
A locking inconsistency issue was discovered in the tty subsystem of the Linux kernel through 5.9.13. drivers/tty/tty_io.c and drivers/tty/tty_jobctrl.c may allow a read-after-free attack against TIOCGSID, aka CID-c8bcd9c5be24. | ||||
CVE-2020-27825 | 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 6 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.7 Medium |
A use-after-free flaw was found in kernel/trace/ring_buffer.c in Linux kernel (before 5.10-rc1). There was a race problem in trace_open and resize of cpu buffer running parallely on different cpus, may cause a denial of service problem (DOS). This flaw could even allow a local attacker with special user privilege to a kernel information leak threat. | ||||
CVE-2020-25669 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 21 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 18 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.8 High |
A vulnerability was found in the Linux Kernel where the function sunkbd_reinit having been scheduled by sunkbd_interrupt before sunkbd being freed. Though the dangling pointer is set to NULL in sunkbd_disconnect, there is still an alias in sunkbd_reinit causing Use After Free. | ||||
CVE-2020-25668 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 26 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, 500f and 23 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.0 High |
A flaw was found in Linux Kernel because access to the global variable fg_console is not properly synchronized leading to a use after free in con_font_op. | ||||
CVE-2020-1752 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Gnu and 1 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Glibc and 6 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.0 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability introduced in glibc upstream version 2.14 was found in the way the tilde expansion was carried out. Directory paths containing an initial tilde followed by a valid username were affected by this issue. A local attacker could exploit this flaw by creating a specially crafted path that, when processed by the glob function, would potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. This was fixed in version 2.32. | ||||
CVE-2020-16166 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more | 2023-11-07 | 3.7 Low |
The Linux kernel through 5.7.11 allows remote attackers to make observations that help to obtain sensitive information about the internal state of the network RNG, aka CID-f227e3ec3b5c. This is related to drivers/char/random.c and kernel/time/timer.c. | ||||
CVE-2020-15025 | 4 Netapp, Ntp, Opensuse and 1 more | 27 8300, 8300 Firmware, 8700 and 24 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.9 Medium |
ntpd in ntp 4.2.8 before 4.2.8p15 and 4.3.x before 4.3.101 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by sending packets, because memory is not freed in situations where a CMAC key is used and associated with a CMAC algorithm in the ntp.keys file. | ||||
CVE-2020-12888 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 39 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 36 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.3 Medium |
The VFIO PCI driver in the Linux kernel through 5.6.13 mishandles attempts to access disabled memory space. | ||||
CVE-2020-12770 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 36 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 33 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.7 Medium |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.6.11. sg_write lacks an sg_remove_request call in a certain failure case, aka CID-83c6f2390040. | ||||
CVE-2020-11884 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 35 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 32 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.0 High |
In the Linux kernel 4.19 through 5.6.7 on the s390 platform, code execution may occur because of a race condition, as demonstrated by code in enable_sacf_uaccess in arch/s390/lib/uaccess.c that fails to protect against a concurrent page table upgrade, aka CID-3f777e19d171. A crash could also occur. | ||||
CVE-2020-11023 | 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 55 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 52 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.1 Medium |
In jQuery versions greater than or equal to 1.0.3 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML containing <option> elements from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0. | ||||
CVE-2020-11022 | 8 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 78 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 75 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.1 Medium |
In jQuery versions greater than or equal to 1.2 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0. | ||||
CVE-2020-10690 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more | 33 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 30 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.4 Medium |
There is a use-after-free in kernel versions before 5.5 due to a race condition between the release of ptp_clock and cdev while resource deallocation. When a (high privileged) process allocates a ptp device file (like /dev/ptpX) and voluntarily goes to sleep. During this time if the underlying device is removed, it can cause an exploitable condition as the process wakes up to terminate and clean all attached files. The system crashes due to the cdev structure being invalid (as already freed) which is pointed to by the inode. | ||||
CVE-2020-10029 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.5 Medium |
The GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.32 could overflow an on-stack buffer during range reduction if an input to an 80-bit long double function contains a non-canonical bit pattern, a seen when passing a 0x5d414141414141410000 value to sinl on x86 targets. This is related to sysdeps/ieee754/ldbl-96/e_rem_pio2l.c. | ||||
CVE-2019-15538 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 High |
An issue was discovered in xfs_setattr_nonsize in fs/xfs/xfs_iops.c in the Linux kernel through 5.2.9. XFS partially wedges when a chgrp fails on account of being out of disk quota. xfs_setattr_nonsize is failing to unlock the ILOCK after the xfs_qm_vop_chown_reserve call fails. This is primarily a local DoS attack vector, but it might result as well in remote DoS if the XFS filesystem is exported for instance via NFS. |
