When duplicating a BigBlueButton activity, the original meeting ID was also duplicated instead of using a new ID for the new activity. This could provide unintended access to the original meeting.
CVE-2023-5539 | 2 Fedoraproject, Moodle | 3 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Moodle | 2024-04-19 | 8.8 High |
A remote code execution risk was identified in the Lesson activity. By default this was only available to teachers and managers.
CVE-2023-1386 | 2 Fedoraproject, Qemu | 2 Fedora, Qemu | 2024-04-17 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in the 9p passthrough filesystem (9pfs) implementation in QEMU. When a local user in the guest writes an executable file with SUID or SGID, none of these privileged bits are correctly dropped. As a result, in rare circumstances, this flaw could be used by malicious users in the guest to elevate their privileges within the guest and help a host local user to elevate privileges on the host.
CVE-2019-13132 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more | 2024-04-11 | 9.8 Critical |
In ZeroMQ libzmq before 4.0.9, 4.1.x before 4.1.7, and 4.2.x before 4.3.2, a remote, unauthenticated client connecting to a libzmq application, running with a socket listening with CURVE encryption/authentication enabled, may cause a stack overflow and overwrite the stack with arbitrary data, due to a buffer overflow in the library. Users running public servers with the above configuration are highly encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible, as there are no known mitigations.
CVE-2020-8284 | 9 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 29 Mac Os X, Macos, Debian Linux and 26 more | 2024-04-08 | 3.7 Low |
A malicious server can use the FTP PASV response to trick curl 7.73.0 and earlier into connecting back to a given IP address and port, and this way potentially make curl extract information about services that are otherwise private and not disclosed, for example doing port scanning and service banner extractions.
CVE-2020-12695 | 21 Asus, Broadcom, Canon and 18 more | 217 Rt-n11, Adsl, Selphy Cp1200 and 214 more | 2024-04-08 | 7.5 High |
The Open Connectivity Foundation UPnP specification before 2020-04-17 does not forbid the acceptance of a subscription request with a delivery URL on a different network segment than the fully qualified event-subscription URL, aka the CallStranger issue.
CVE-2021-30499 | 2 Fedoraproject, Libcaca Project | 2 Fedora, Libcaca | 2024-04-07 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in libcaca. A buffer overflow of export.c in function export_troff might lead to memory corruption and other potential consequences.
CVE-2021-30498 | 2 Fedoraproject, Libcaca Project | 2 Fedora, Libcaca | 2024-04-07 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in libcaca. A heap buffer overflow in export.c in function export_tga might lead to memory corruption and other potential consequences.
CVE-2018-14553 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2024-04-07 | 7.5 High |
gdImageClone in gd.c in libgd 2.1.0-rc2 through 2.2.5 has a NULL pointer dereference allowing attackers to crash an application via a specific function call sequence. Only affects PHP when linked with an external libgd (not bundled).
CVE-2023-38408 | 2 Fedoraproject, Openbsd | 2 Fedora, Openssh | 2024-04-04 | 9.8 Critical |
The PKCS#11 feature in ssh-agent in OpenSSH before 9.3p2 has an insufficiently trustworthy search path, leading to remote code execution if an agent is forwarded to an attacker-controlled system. (Code in /usr/lib is not necessarily safe for loading into ssh-agent.) NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2016-10009.
CVE-2023-38545 | 4 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Microsoft and 1 more | 13 Fedora, Libcurl, Windows 10 1809 and 10 more | 2024-04-01 | 9.8 Critical |
This flaw makes curl overflow a heap based buffer in the SOCKS5 proxy handshake. When curl is asked to pass along the host name to the SOCKS5 proxy to allow that to resolve the address instead of it getting done by curl itself, the maximum length that host name can be is 255 bytes. If the host name is detected to be longer, curl switches to local name resolving and instead passes on the resolved address only. Due to this bug, the local variable that means "let the host resolve the name" could get the wrong value during a slow SOCKS5 handshake, and contrary to the intention, copy the too long host name to the target buffer instead of copying just the resolved address there. The target buffer being a heap based buffer, and the host name coming from the URL that curl has been told to operate with.
CVE-2023-38039 | 3 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Microsoft | 10 Fedora, Curl, Windows 10 1809 and 7 more | 2024-04-01 | 7.5 High |
When curl retrieves an HTTP response, it stores the incoming headers so that they can be accessed later via the libcurl headers API. However, curl did not have a limit in how many or how large headers it would accept in a response, allowing a malicious server to stream an endless series of headers and eventually cause curl to run out of heap memory. |
