CVE-2019-18683 | 6 Broadcom, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 23 Fabric Operating System, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 20 more | 2024-06-07 | 7.0 High |
An issue was discovered in drivers/media/platform/vivid in the Linux kernel through 5.3.8. It is exploitable for privilege escalation on some Linux distributions where local users have /dev/video0 access, but only if the driver happens to be loaded. There are multiple race conditions during streaming stopping in this driver (part of the V4L2 subsystem). These issues are caused by wrong mutex locking in vivid_stop_generating_vid_cap(), vivid_stop_generating_vid_out(), sdr_cap_stop_streaming(), and the corresponding kthreads. At least one of these race conditions leads to a use-after-free.
CVE-2019-14821 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 38 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 35 more | 2024-02-16 | 8.8 High |
An out-of-bounds access issue was found in the Linux kernel, all versions through 5.3, in the way Linux kernel's KVM hypervisor implements the Coalesced MMIO write operation. It operates on an MMIO ring buffer 'struct kvm_coalesced_mmio' object, wherein write indices 'ring->first' and 'ring->last' value could be supplied by a host user-space process. An unprivileged host user or process with access to '/dev/kvm' device could use this flaw to crash the host kernel, resulting in a denial of service or potentially escalating privileges on the system.
CVE-2019-15118 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 9 more | 2024-02-03 | 5.5 Medium |
check_input_term in sound/usb/mixer.c in the Linux kernel through 5.2.9 mishandles recursion, leading to kernel stack exhaustion.
CVE-2019-14835 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 44 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 41 more | 2023-12-15 | 7.8 High |
A buffer overflow flaw was found, in versions from 2.6.34 to 5.2.x, in the way Linux kernel's vhost functionality that translates virtqueue buffers to IOVs, logged the buffer descriptors during migration. A privileged guest user able to pass descriptors with invalid length to the host when migration is underway, could use this flaw to increase their privileges on the host.

CVE-2020-9391 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp | 10 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 5.4 and 5.5 through 5.5.6 on the AArch64 architecture. It ignores the top byte in the address passed to the brk system call, potentially moving the memory break downwards when the application expects it to move upwards, aka CID-dcde237319e6. This has been observed to cause heap corruption with the GNU C Library malloc implementation.
CVE-2020-5398 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware | 33 Data Availability Services, Snapcenter, Application Testing Suite and 30 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 High |
In Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.3, versions 5.1.x prior to 5.1.13, and versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.16, an application is vulnerable to a reflected file download (RFD) attack when it sets a "Content-Disposition" header in the response where the filename attribute is derived from user supplied input.
CVE-2020-1935 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 20 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 17 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.8 Medium |
In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99 the HTTP header parsing code used an approach to end-of-line parsing that allowed some invalid HTTP headers to be parsed as valid. This led to a possibility of HTTP Request Smuggling if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that incorrectly handled the invalid Transfer-Encoding header in a particular manner. Such a reverse proxy is considered unlikely.
CVE-2019-19063 | 7 Broadcom, Canonical, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 20 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Ubuntu Linux, Fedora and 17 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.6 Medium |
Two memory leaks in the rtl_usb_probe() function in drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtlwifi/usb.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allow attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption), aka CID-3f9361695113. |
